XBOX 360...Playstation 2 or regular XBOX?

I am stationed overseas and want to watch DVDs and play games. The 360 is pretty expensive but I know will rock...does it play DVD's. I can get a normal XBOX with the "chip" that will let me play pirated games as well as DVDs. or what about the Playstation...being over here sux so I need some entertainment. what do you think?

1Go ahead and get the 360. It plays dvds just fine. Good games are a matter of opinion. In my opinion the 360 has awsome games.
